DeWayne Pace spoke at The Youth Village on Wednesday evening July 28th. Mr. Pace grew up in the local community and has had some real struggles. He graduated from El Centro's culinary school and has had a very successful career in the Food business. He will speak about his life and careers in the food industry.

Mr. Walter Morris spoke at the Youth Village on Wednesday evening, August 18. He will be speaking in the Chapel starting at 6pm. Mr. Morris will be speaking about what it is like to be on parole for life! Mr. Morris went to prison for double homicide. He served 36 years and 10 months and was on death row until his sentence was commuted to life. He was released at over 6o years of age and is now on parole for life.

Mr. Chris Arnold spoke at Medlock on Thursday evening, August 26th. He will be speaking in the Multi Purpose room. Mr. Arnold works for the Dallas Mavericks and is the game announcer at the arena. He will talk with the guys Mostly about "having a plan" which he will talk about how it has benefited his life from as early as 14 years of age (his first Radio gig) up to current. He has been a very successful radio DJ and sports analyst.
